Forming Corporate Show Band

| Seeking: mature musicians interested in designing a sophisticated corporate show band (trumpet, sax, trombone, keys/synth, lead guitar, male/female lead singers). All players need to have vocal ability (lead and harmony).
Formerly we (bass player & drummer with Roland electronic drums) were professional musicians with many full time years on the road. Now we live in Vegas and have good paying day jobs. We're looking for like minded players with equally high skill levels and clean life styles to begin a quality respectable project that will have at least a ten year shelf life.
We plan to cover danceable music from the 60's to current. The band will consist of the typical line up as well as a small horn section and one or two female singers (approx. 8 piece).
Music/Artists covered will range from Funk/Soul/R&B (James Brown, Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire), Beatles (Sgt. Pepper), Chicago, some Disco, some 80's Dance & Pop, a few Contemporary dance hits (Beyonce, Justin Timberlake), as well as some Latin favorites and Smooth Jazz.
We are used to doing our homework before hand so the rehearsal schedule will be very light (once or twice a month max.) We're only interested in performing for corporate events and small showrooms (no bars, no lounges, and minimal travel).
We do have past relationships with local bookers but there are no contracts pending so this will start out as a labor of love intent on building working relationships, trust, and a product we can all be proud of.
