This is some of my gear:
The Beast This guitar started out as an American made Kramer Barretta circa 1988. I bought it for $99 at a music store in Boston because some egghead carved his initials on the front of the body. The pickups didn't work, and the Floyd Rose needed some pieces. I cut out about 500 comics and glued them to the body. I applied some lacquer that I found at a local hobby shop and the new finish was born. I replaced the stock pickup that didn't work with a Seymour Duncan JB, found some odds and ends for the Floyd Rose, and had it set up by a guitar tech. Total Cost about $200 with the new pickups, pieces and setup. It doesn't sound at all like the other Barrettas. I can only guess that the finish and new pickup has something to do with that. It does, however, sound very cool and is great for all kinds of rock. I also added a coil split to the pickup so it gets some great Strat tones.

The Beauty This is a Gibson Les Paul Classic Premium Plus Gibson Description. I bought this at a Guitar Shop after there was a fire at a restaurant next door. They were selling all guitars at cost because they had some smoke damage to the store and they needed to clear out the inventory to clean it up. There was nothing wrong with this gutar at all. I paid $1450. It is 100% stock and I love it. I have had this guitar for about 10 years and I will never sell it.

The Bass This is a G&L L-1500 USA Made Bass. I bought this for $350 in a music store. I wasn't looking for a Bass, but it was a steal and it played great. I have had this for about 8 years. It is an early 90's version with a swamp ash body.

The Acoustic This is a Larrivee D-03. I paid full price. I think around $600. I have had it for about 7 years or so. It is basically a stripped down Larrivee. Nice warm sound with a focus in the mid range.

Some Pedals You can never have too many distortion pedals. I have 5. 3 Boss, 1 Carl Martin, and 1 Hughes and Kettner. My two Favorite are the Carl Martin and the Boss DS-1. For $35, you can not get a better deal than if you buy a DS-1. Other than Distortion boxes, I use a Vox Wah, Boss Digital Delay, and a Guyatone Chorus.
The Amp I am playing through a couple of practice amps that don't really justify a picture. I rely on my dist boxes to color the sound so as long as I plug into an amp with a warm clean channel, it is just great for me.
Other Stuff that I have Owned I have owned so much gear that I can't begin to count. Right now, I have just enough and I love the guitars that I own. I may add a decent amp to the mix in the future, but I really don't need it. I am not playing out.
